Melissa Gil is a marine biologist, environmentalist and professional kitesurfer who is passionate about the ocean, nature and water sports.  She was raised in Costa Rica and in her early years her family trips to the beach meant a full day of playing in the ocean.   With the years her passion for water sports and devotion to nature and the ocean grew stronger.   She became a marine biologist and engaged in several water sports, her favorite being surfing and kitesurfing.  With MG Surf Line her vision is to combine her passions to provide unique, stylish and eco-friendly products that reflect our love for Mother Nature exclusively made Costa Rican.
