02/18/2018

The community comes together at Loggerhead Marinelife Center:

241 volunteers and 62 pounds of marine debris removed!!!

The Blue Friends Society organizes monthly beach clean ups at Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach, FL.  We had the pleasure to join forces on their February clean up and it was inspiring to see so many people from our community come together to help keep our beaches clean and help protect sea turtles!

We want to give a huge thank you to the volunteers who joined our February cleanup!

With the help of 241 volunteers, we were able to collect a total of 62 pounds of marine debris!

Some interesting debris found included golf tees, kid toys and a crochet frisbee.

Next beach cleanup is on Saturday, March 17 at 8:30 am.  Click here for more details.
